1. Scope

These Community Partner Terms ("Partner Terms") apply to any organisation, and the individuals acting for it, that operates a Community Gate approved by NexusG8 (a "Partner"). They add to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines, which continue to apply. If a written partner agreement signed by NexusG8 conflicts with these Partner Terms, the signed agreement wins for that Partner.

2. Application and approval

2.1 You may apply for a Community Gate only for an organisation you are authorised to represent: a mosque, school, association, network, business, creator community, or similar. You must give accurate information about the organisation, its leadership, and your role.

2.2 NexusG8 approves applications at its discretion and may ask for documents or a conversation first. Approval activates community authority: member approval, directories, broadcasts, entry points, and, where offered, revenue share. Approval is not an endorsement, certification, or verification of the organisation's religious, charitable, or legal status.

2.3 NexusG8 may set a verification badge or tier for Partners and may change or remove it.

3. Your responsibilities

3.1 Accuracy. Keep your organisation's information current. Tell us within 14 days if the organisation changes name, leadership, or legal status, or if you stop being authorised to act for it.

3.2 Administrators. Give administrative access only to people who need it. Each administrator must hold their own account; do not share logins. You are responsible for everything your administrators do. Remove access promptly when someone leaves.

3.3 Membership decisions. Decide membership applications fairly and in line with any criteria you publish on your Gate. You may decline or remove members; you may not do so on grounds that are unlawful where you operate.

3.4 Broadcasts. Send only messages relevant to your community. No third-party advertising through broadcasts unless NexusG8 has approved a sponsorship arrangement for it.

3.5 Entry points. QR codes, NFC tags, and links that NexusG8 issues for your Gate are yours to display. Do not alter them to point elsewhere.

3.6 Conduct. The Community Guidelines apply to your organisation and its administrators, including the higher standard set for Community Gates.

4. Member information

4.1 What you can see. Through the Gate you can see, for each member, what is reasonably necessary to run the relationship: name, photo, headline, their answers to your community's questions, their role and status, and the fields they have made visible to your community. You will not see members' passwords, sign-in provider details, payment details, private items, or activity in other communities.

4.2 What you can do with it. Use member information only to operate your community inside NexusG8: reviewing applications, organising members, sending broadcasts, routing volunteers, and reporting. You may contact members through the channels they have made visible to your community, for community purposes.

4.3 What you may not do. You may not export, copy, scrape, or bulk-download member information; sell, rent, or trade it; add members to external mailing lists or CRMs without their separate consent; use it for surveillance, profiling, or discrimination; or share it with any third party except as the member has authorised or the law requires.

4.4 Roles under privacy law. For information processed inside the Gate, NexusG8 determines the means and purposes of processing and acts as controller, and you act on the permissions the platform grants. If you collect information from members outside NexusG8 (for example, at your own front desk), you are an independent controller of that information and responsible for it under the laws that apply to you.

4.5 Requests and incidents. If a member asks you to correct or delete information held in the Gate, direct them to their own account controls or to privacy@nexusg8.com and do not obstruct the request. If you learn of unauthorised access to your Gate or to member information, tell us at privacy@nexusg8.com within 72 hours.

4.6 Departure. When a member leaves or is removed, their answers and profile details disappear from your view. A minimal record of membership dates remains for history and revenue-share accuracy.

5. Revenue share

5.1 The programme. Where NexusG8 offers a revenue-share programme, an eligible Partner receives a share of Net Revenue that NexusG8 attributes to the Partner's Community Gate. The current standard share is stated in your approval notice or partner agreement; the working model is an equal split, 50% to the Partner and 50% to NexusG8, unless your agreement says otherwise.

5.2 Net Revenue. Net Revenue means amounts NexusG8 actually receives from sponsorships, promoted listings, campaigns, paid opportunities, and other monetised activity that NexusG8 attributes to your Gate, less payment-processing fees, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, and third-party costs directly tied to that revenue. Subscription fees paid by individual members for their own Nexus Gates are not included unless your agreement says so.

5.3 Attribution. NexusG8 determines attribution using entry points, memberships, routes, and outcomes recorded in the Service. Attribution methods will improve over time and may change on 30 days' notice. NexusG8's records are the basis for calculation; obvious errors will be corrected on request.

5.4 Reporting and payment. NexusG8 will provide a statement at least quarterly showing attributed activity, Net Revenue, and your share. Payment is made within 45 days after the end of the period, by a method NexusG8 supports, once your balance reaches USD 100 (smaller balances roll forward). You must provide accurate payment and tax details (for example, a W-9 or W-8) before payment; NexusG8 may withhold where the law requires.

5.5 Sponsor fit. NexusG8 screens sponsors and campaigns for ethical and community fit and may decline any of them. You may opt your community out of sponsorships entirely or of a particular campaign; opted-out activity generates no revenue share.

5.6 No guarantee. Revenue share depends on real activity. NexusG8 does not promise any minimum amount, and revenue features may be offered, changed, paused, or withdrawn with 30 days' notice, without affecting amounts already earned.

5.7 Taxes and status. You are responsible for taxes on amounts you receive. Nothing here makes you an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of NexusG8, or NexusG8 a donor to you.

6. Brand and content

6.1 Your marks. You grant NexusG8 a non-exclusive licence to display your name, logo, and Gate content within the Service and to list you as a NexusG8 community in materials, unless you tell us in writing not to.

6.2 Our marks. You may say that your community is "on NexusG8" and use our badge assets as provided. Do not suggest that NexusG8 endorses your organisation or its views.

6.3 Content you publish through the Gate is your content under section 5 of the Terms of Service, and you are responsible for it.

7. Term, suspension, and termination

7.1 These Partner Terms apply from approval until the Community Gate is closed.

7.2 By you. You may close your Gate at any time from your settings or by writing to support@nexusg8.com. Members are notified and retain their own Nexus Gates.

7.3 By NexusG8. We may suspend or withdraw approval, or close a Gate, immediately if the Partner breaches these Partner Terms, the Terms of Service, or the Community Guidelines; misuses member information; misrepresents the organisation; presents a legal, safety, or reputational risk; or is inactive for twelve months. Where the issue can be fixed, we will normally say what is wrong and give you a chance to fix it first.

7.4 Effects. On closure, administrative access ends, entry points stop resolving, and member data is handled as described in section 4.6 and the Privacy Policy. Earned but unpaid revenue share is paid on the next scheduled date, unless withdrawal was for misuse of member information or fraud, in which case NexusG8 may withhold it to cover losses.

8. Liability

Sections 13 to 15 of the Terms of Service (disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) apply to the Partner. In addition, the Partner will indemnify NexusG8 against claims arising from the Partner's misuse of member information or from content the Partner publishes through the Gate.

9. Changes

We may update these Partner Terms with at least 30 days' notice by email to the Gate's administrators. Continuing to operate the Gate after the effective date means the updated terms apply. If you do not agree, you may close your Gate before then.
